I just recently reviewed “The Skin Regime” by Dana Ramos. As an esthetician, I am always up for trying out new beauty products and being that I am in the skin care industry, there are always new things to learn. The 147 page book came along with a mini bottle of the peel and step by step instructions on how to use it. The book is great for someone that is just getting into skin care. It talks about skin nutrition, male skin care, why peels are great to keep up with proper skin care, and even touches base on skin care for the rest of your body. I followed the regime challenge and I did notice a difference in my skin. The tone and texture were a lot more even and it was very smooth and soft. I recommend this book if you are a total spa junkie and would like to treat your skin at home in between your professional appointments. If you have sensitive skin and not sure about the ingredients, be sure to contact your dermatologist.

About the Book:
The best-selling The Skin Regime: Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin is now in its 2nd Edition. The book is updated, expanded and still reveals the truth about beauty products and skin care: Why most products are junk and a huge waste of time and money. Direct and humorous, the book instructs how to create a personalized regime based on products and advice most dermatologists recommend for their patients: The truly skin-transforming ingredients that really work to make gorgeous skin. You won’t find the truth in beauty magazines because they exist to advertise lotions, potions made by the over-priced cosmetic industry, and those ridiculous models they use–teenagers or movie stars with good skin, wearing tons of makeup with heavily-altered photos.
Well-known dermatologist, Dr. David Bank, provides the book’s foreword and was the technical advisor–he is not afraid to tell the truth, either! If you like to get pampered with salon facials or doctor treatments–and it’s working well for you–then keep enjoying yourself. But not everyone has that kind of money–or time. And with a big dose of bravado, The Skin Regime presents a first-time ever challenge to established cosmetic companies to see if any of them can even come close to the results of The Skin Regime. Five percent of book revenues are being donated to worthy non-profit organizations. Visit TheSkinRegime.com and read the first chapter of the book for free!
