Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub

Scrub…scrub…scrub! One of my guilty pleasures for sure. Being in the spa industry for a very long time, I am pretty selective when it comes to picking out a body scrub. I was anxious to try out and review the Dead Sea Salt Scrub by Adovia. The body scrub comes in a plastic tub and is a beachy bright blue color which is very different from most scrubs. The scrub has a light fresh sea breeze scent to it and has a blend of natural oils in it. The grit of the scrub is actually pretty fine, dissolves quickly when used, and the oils nicely hydrate the skin. Because of the added oils in this scrub, there is no need to apply a moisturizer post your body scrub. The scrub can be used on all skin types and only to be used from the neck down.

About the scrub:

  • Genuine Dead Sea Salt exfoliates dead skin cells and dull skin
  • Leaves skin with a “glow” as a younger layer of healthy skin is revealed
  • Natural moisturizing oils leave skin hydrated and soft – lasts all day
  • Offers effective relief from Eczema, body acne, Psoriasis, muscle aches and pains
  • Replenishes Minerals essential to skin health
  • Increases circulation – feels great and refreshing – perfect way to start the day during the morning shower.

Exfoliate and pamper body with this Salt Scrub that combines Dead Sea Salt and minerals with natural, moisturizing Oils. Gentle and reviving, the scrub exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells, helps circulation and rejuvenates your skin. While smoothing and stimulating the skin, this relaxing body scrub will gently buff away dead skin cells leaving your skin smooth, supple and refreshed. Scrubs help circulation and are a wonderful way to invigorate your skin. The abrasive action of the salt will remove dead skin cells and open pores, allowing them to breathe. A vigorous scrub not only softens, stimulates and cleans the skin but also makes it look lighter.

Directions: Scoop out a tablespoon or two and begin to massage it onto your skin while in the shower or bath. Work in a circular motion, starting with your extremities and toward your heart. Use on your thighs, buttocks, stomach, and your feet Leave the scrub on your skin for 5 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with cool water. Avoid cuts or open wounds as the salt would sting. Pat dry with a towel. For a finishing touch moisturize your body with Body lotion. Apply 1-2 times a week. Avoid contact with eyes.
