You never know who you may connect with in person after being social media friends first. With the industries I am in, networking and meeting new people comes with the territory. Sometimes, you meet those that really stand out, you connect with, and that you know you are going to build more than just a professional relationship with. I had the privilege of meeting the lovely Dawn Cortez, owner of D-Flex Fitness Studio. We were introduced by a mutual friend and client and it turns out we have quite a bit in common. Dawn originally came in to see me for an eyebrow wax which turned into us chatting it up for a little while. With both of us being business owners and the wellness of our clientele being a priority, we have decided to get together for some future projects. Talk about exciting.

Dawn is truly a genuine spirit, bubbly, and full of life. I am excited to take her classes and meet her clients. From following her social media, I can tell they are a fun bunch of people and make every new member feel totally welcomed. My goal is to become a member of Dawn’s studio, get my butt into better shape and have Dawn looking as flawless as possible. With her introducing me to her world of health and fitness, I am will be returning the favor of sharing my expertise of beauty, spa and social media. It’s a win win. The best part of us meeting, is how close are studios are, literally walking distance from each other. Nothing like strong women supporting each other to make life easier and the world a better place.
