Christmas Light Fest at Don Strange Ranch Giveaway

With my love for the hill country, road trips, and Christmas lights, a visit to the Christmas Light Fest at the Don Strange Ranch was one I couldn’t pass up. Located on a scenic, historic ranch just 20 minutes outside of San Antonio off IH-10 West, Christmas Light Fest is sure to make your family’s holiday season more memorable. Christmas Light Fest features a drive-thru of two miles of holiday lights and you can also enjoy a hayride under the stars. The two million light route has something for everyone; aside from Christmas themed light displays, there was also Texas themed displays, animal and Disney themed displays, and a few light filled tunnels, which happened to be my favorite. Add a bit more fun to your visit by stopping by Santa’s Village for some holiday eats and treats. Be sure to enter the Christmas Light Fest Giveaway for a chance to win a pass for an enjoyable holiday evening.

About Santa’s Village

Christmas Light Fest brings Santa’s Village to life with holiday flavors, favorites and fun—including visits with Santa each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night before Christmas. Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick will be available to hear holiday wishes and take pictures, so bring your cameras and snap away—there’s no charge for Santa pictures and your entire family can join in the fun. With s’mores, kettle corn, hot chocolate, coffee, sausage on a stick, tamales and more, Santa’s Village has a wide array of flavors to enjoy. Santa’s Village also features Longhorns to give your holiday a true Texas spin—after all, in Texas, Santa needs a bit more than reindeer to pull his sleigh! And if you’re worried that Santa won’t bring just the right gift, the fabulous vendors at Santa’s Village offer an array of gift options sure to help fill your Christmas list. And a variety of bands and choirs will share their talents from the stage in Santa’s Village, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy a holiday evening.

About the Hayrides

Come out to Christmas Light Fest any night to enjoy a hayride through the lights. Imagine the glow of two million lights as you ride the trail making memories on a hayride! Instead of driving through the lights, hop on a bale of hay and ride through the lights with your family and friends under the twinkling night sky. Hayrides are offered in lieu of a vehicle pass, giving everyone the opportunity to park and let Christmas Light Fest do the driving. Hayrides are $15 per person. Private Hayrides are available for $150 up to 20 guests.
