Essex Modern City: Art in the East Side of San Antonio
Today I went to a photography class at Essex Modern City hosted by my fellow blogger friend. It had been a while that I had been to the East Side of San Antonio. I am all about finding hidden gems when I travel but, have forgotten to look for ones in my own hometown. (Be sure to check out the Facebook LIVE at the end of the blog.)
Essex Modern City is not just a loading dock and warehouse, its home to the #ESSEXART PROJECT where local artists showcase their passionate talents. As you can see by my pictures (taken this morning.), we obviously have some talented people in the Alamo city.
The #ESSEXART PROJECT is a great place for photographers, writers, art lovers, and tourists to visit. Art events are held at the former pallet manufacturing site every second Saturday of the month. I can’t wait to attend an event at Essex Modern City. If it was a great place to mingle with other like-minded individuals at the photography class, I can imagine the amazing people I’d meet at a bigger event.
