Like a Real-life Hallmark Movie
I was invited to attend The Old West Christmas Light Fest (last year) at Enchanted Springs Ranch in Boerne, Texas. You will feel like you’re in a real-life Hallmark movie! You need to see for yourself.
I’ve visited the enchanted ranch twice; once with friends and the second time with my family. The ranch is a combination of a Hollywood movie set, animal farm, and a historic recreation. This year, they have opened their gates to experience a true Texas Christmas experience in a rustic Old West setting.
As soon as you enter the ranch, you will drive-thru Christmas light displays. (Don’t forget to play the Christmas music on the radio.) The staff at the ranch was great; they kept the line flowing, and guided us where to park so we could enjoy the rest of the ranch.
Strolling throughout the ranch
We loved strolling through the different buildings as the Christmas music was playing. Each building is decorated with lights and holiday décor. We played holiday games, made s’mores, ate cookies, drank hot chocolate and cold beer.
My favorite part was being able to visit with and take as many pictures as I wanted with Santa. An even bigger plus: All FREE. The nephews enjoyed the scavenger hunt as they searched the property for Longhorns and my parents liked checking out the local vendors.
Christmas Light Fest is more than just a place to see lights and Santa and not just for families. It makes a great date night and girl’s evening out to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to live Christmas music. For more information, click here.
